Immediate needs for summer of 2024

·         Constructing a temporary facility:

We have applied for and received a $15k grant for creating a small treatment facility on the property that may also be used for storage and eventually as an on-call room, once a more comprehensive rehabilitation center is constructed.

This facility would have electricity and running water, allowing for streamlined intake and treatment. With larger funds we can improve the construction for better functionality.

·         Construct additional animal enclosures

·         Raise funds for feeding and medical supplies for animals undergoing rehabilitation

·         Install a storage shed

·         Raise funds for travel expenses for transporting patients

·         Install a pressure tank and upgrade water system

·         Acquire funding for paid positions:

1.      Full time position for ED who is also the Wildlife rehabilitator & Education director.

2.      Part time Operations and Development director who will oversee fundraising, community outreach and social media.
